Abstract

India is a country steeped in history, with a wide variety of customs, languages, and religious practices. While manufacturing and services continue to be major contributors to India's gross domestic product (GDP), the country's labor force has shifted away from agriculture in recent decades due to a lack of irrigation infrastructure and an over-reliance on the natural environment, factors that often spell disaster for farmers. The Indian economy has greatly improved as a result of this paradigm shift from agriculture to industry and the service sector. Most of the venture's growth has occurred in rural and semi-urban regions, which suffer from insufficient infrastructural and financial difficulties, thus the success story is not yet complete. Many individuals were following in their ancestors' footsteps by using the skill of painting to support themselves and their families. Paint-art is a type of performance art that has evolved in Paint-groups and Paint-clusters via word of mouth. People in rural and semi-urban parts of India who are illiterate or barely educated, have low incomes, and have little exposure to contemporary technical art constitute the backbone of India's paint-art scene. As a rule, they adhere to the conventional understanding of art that they acquired from previous generations.
